Terms and Conditions for Private Events

All bookings for Private Events are subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

Pre-payment

Stokey Karraoke does not operate a credit policy. All hire fees, excluding minimum spend, must be paid by a minimum 14 days in advance. Please note Stokey Karaoke reserves the right to cancel the booking if full payment has not been received one week prior to the event date.

 

A valid credit card may be requested prior to the event for guarantee of the minimum spend. Stokey Karaoke reserves the right to pre-authorise or process full payment of the minimum spend in advance of the event or on the day at the manager’s discretion. If your event intends to serve complimentary drinks for guests and the minimum spend is met your pre-authorisation will be lifted or funds returned by BACS transfer. However, if your guests are paying for their own drinks and your minimum spend is not met, the difference will be deducted before return of funds or charged accordingly.

 

Stokey Karaoke accepts payment via BACS transfer or by credit/debit card via telephone.  For hire; the full fee amount is expected at least 14 days prior to event or will be considered cancelled (please see Cancellation Police below). Your deposit will be returned in line with our Cancellation Policy and Health & Safety terms. The amount returned may vary from hirer to hirer as some terms not set out in this contract may be agreed on or negotiated when booking. Please note: unless confirmed by email from a Stokey Karaoke representative no other agreements are valid.

 

Confirmation of Booking

Stokey Karaoke must receive a completed booking form, which will in turn act as confirmation of your booking and agreement of set out term’s and conditions; until this is received the booking will be treated as provisional. If any section of the form is incomplete and until such time as deposit is received unless discussed otherwise bookings will not be deemed as confirmed.

All drinks on the menu are subject to availability and branding may vary. Menu listings and prices are subject to change.

All prices quoted are inclusive of V.A.T at 20%.

Any un-met minimum spend is non-refundable. If your minimum spend is not reached, the difference will be treated as room hire and charged on the day of the function.

 

Final Numbers

Stokey Karaoke has a maximum capacity as per our license, which must be upheld  and adhered  to. Whilst you can have a larger guest list, we retain the right to cut off entry once respective limits are reached.

 

Cancellation Policy

Stokey Karaoke retains the right to charge a cancellation fee which will be taken from the deposit for hire if 14 days or more notice to cancel is not given prior to the event. Stokey Karaoke retains the right to NOT return deposit and or hire fee if notice to cancel is not received at least 7 days prior to event. With regard to temporary event notices submitted to local authority to extend license time; if a temporary event notice is refused we will refund your deposit lesser the event notice fee (£21) In line with the cancellation policy.

 

Photography/Filming

For professional photography and filming (including exterior of the building) written permission is required prior to any filming and/or photography taking place.

 

 

Property

Stokey Karaoke cannot store or take responsibility for any equipment/products that may be used in conjunction with a private event. Any property brought to a private event remains the responsibility of the owner. Stokey Karaoke will not be liable for any property left behind after a private event. All gifts must be taken with the client at the end of the night.

 

 

Health & Safety

Please note that Stokey Karaoke operates a strictly non-smoking policy. We allow a maximum of 6 smokers outside at any one time. We expect all guests of Stokey Karaoke to treat our staff, neighbouring businesses, residents and surrounding areas with respect. Abuse toward staff, drug use or violence will not be tolerated and could result in being asked to leave or being reported to the police. The primary contact or client named on the booking is responsible for the orderly conduct of the guests attending the event. They are also liable for any damage caused to equipment hired or not on the premises, including but not restricted to monitor screens and DJ equipment.
